Animals

Koala Bears  

The pinnacle of Kuranda Gardens is undoubtedly these adorable, curious creatures who you can not only meet up close, but take a picture with to remember this moment forever! These little creatures sleep for up to 22 hours a day, so you may catch them having a snooze!

Freshwater Crocodiles

These cold-blooded creatures are certainly iconic to Australia and there is nothing quite like seeing their razor sharp teeth in the flesh! At Kuranda Gardens, you can learn all about this fascinating freshwater species!

Quokkas

As the first mammals to be discovered by European settlers, Quokkas were originally found in the scrub on islands off the Western Coast of Australia. Cute, fluffy and fun, Quokkas are some of the cutest animals on the island!

Eastern Grey Kangaroos

You can’t visit Australia without seeing Kangaroos! As the second largest marsupial in Australia, Eastern Grey Kangaroos are magnificent creatures which are found in the grasslands in Eastern Australia!

Wallabies
