Animals

Sea World Gold Coast offers an impressive array of creatures and is committed to contributing to their conservation.  There are also options to meet these creatures up close in Sea World's animal experiences. Here are some of the main animals:

Polar Bears

The only polar bears that can be found in the whole of Australia, these awe-inspiring beasts are worth the visit to Sea World. Look out for these creatures sleeping in their comfortable Arctic Summer exhibit.  

Dolphins

Penguins

Leviathan

Known as the world’s most iconic wooden coaster, Leviathan’s 909-metres track at speeds of up to 80kms per hour, reaching a mighty height of 32 metres.

Trident

A wonderful opportunity to take to the skies and discover the world of New Atlantis from atop the magical Trident. Defy gravity as you soar and spin freely at 42 metres above the ground.

Vortex

Another attraction made for the brave, where you will experience high-speed twists and turns like never before.

  • Car: there is free parking available in front of the entrance.
  • Bus: If you are travelling by bus, then take the 705 bus which stops at Sea World.

Useful Information

Access

Sea World Gold Coast aims to be a fully accessible park. There is free parking available at the entrance, toilets throughout and ramps.

If you have any access questions prior to your visit, please go to the Guest Services Desk as you enter the park or call the team on (07) 5588 2178. 

There are discount rates available for those who present a State or Commonwealth issued Disability Pension Card and guests are issued one free care card. 

Electric lockers

Store your valuable belongings in Sea World’s electric lockers. 

Food and Drink

There are several restaurants, cafes and a food court offering a range of hot meals and snacks such as pies, sandwiches or hamburgers.
