Rhino Express 

Monarto Safari Park is home to the magnificent white rhino, Ibutho, who you can meet in the flesh and give him a cuddle. All aboard the Rhino Express!  

Giraffe Safari

Meet the elegant, magnificent giraffes who will give you a kiss with their iconic black tongues. Learn about these incredibly interesting animals and enjoy a truly unique experience!  

Lions 360

Come face to face with one of the world’s most dangerous and striking creatures - the majestic Lion! A completely safe and secure experience, Lion 360 is the perfect way to experience seeing the lion up close…

Meerkat Mingle

Meerkats - the incredibly mischievous creatures - are ready to mingle! Feed them some scrumptious treats and watch them dart, skip, hop and jump around with their cheeky and mischievous ways!

Meet the Chimps

Our ancestors the chimps are always up for a chat - now is your chance to meet them in person! At Monarto Safari Park, we have a curious and friendly group of chimpanzees ready to have fun!  

A Devilish Native Experience

With cheeky Tasmanian Devils, Greater Bilbies and Yellow-footed Rock-wallabies, a Devilish Native Experience features some of Australia’s most endangered and iconic animals, who you can pet and feed!

How to get there

The Monarto Safari Park address is:

Old Princes Hwy, Monarto South SA 5254 

• Car: you can get to Monarto Safari Park by car from Adelaide, just take the Monarto exit off the Southern Eastern Freeway and then follow the signs. If you are travelling from the East by car, then you can take the Murray Bridge exit off the South Eastern Freeway to the Princes Highway. 
• Bus: you can take the LinkSA bus service from Adelaide CBD to Monarto Safari Park Monday to Friday, with a return trip to Adelaide mid-afternoon.  

Useful Information

There are all of the necessary public amenities at Monarto Safari Park, including picnic benches, first aid facilities and baby changing facilities.

There are access facilities at Monarto Safari Park, with ramps and railings throughout the park and disabled toilets. Due to the current covid situation, guide dogs are currently not permitted in the park as this is for the safety of park animals and assistance animals.  

There are group visits available, such as the Private Group Tours, Twilight Group Tours, Zu-lu shuttle Group Visits and Education Group Visits.
