From the challenging commando rope climb to the exhilarating pirate climb, Cairns Zoom & Wildlife Dome has a range of challenges rope courses for varying abilities with the mid-zoom and the hi-zoom! Home to Goliath, the 4 metre saltwater crocodile, Cairns Zoo and Wildlife Zone provides you with the opportunity to learn all about his habits and eating time in the Crocodile Show. Catch him snapping away whilst you zoom over on a zip line!
Delve deep into the dark and learn all about Australia’s nocturnal mammals such as Bettongs, Swamp Wallabies, sugar gliders and more! Learn all about what they get up to in the night-time whilst we’re sleeping!
Discover an array of colourful rainforest birds which fly gracefully around the glass dome and on the bird feeding tour, you can learn all about their feeding habits and get to know their personalities!
Mid-Zoom has the easiest level of difficulty and is suited to younger children or those who are seeking to get used to the equipment. Featuring a variety of climbing walls, tunnels, a cargo tent, swings and a zip line, this challenge course is not for the faint hearted!
Undoubtedly providing a higher level of difficulty, Hi-Zoom is a more challenging course consisting of complex cours crossings, three exhilarating zip-lines and the opportunity to capture the moment with a picture at the end!
Take in breath-taking views of Cairns from the top of the Dome-Club, as you walk around an external platform which is only 60cm wide! A wonderful opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery and experience your surroundings.
Feel the adrenaline with this 13m plunge through the air whilst you only have a rope attached to you! This one is definitely for the thrill seekers!

You can park at the Cairns Cruise Liner and the car park spaces around the casino and casino complex.
There are a range of drinks, snacks and ice-creams in the Gift Shop.
There is an entrance to Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome has a slope for wheelchair access to the reception and there is always a staff life available to assist customers in wheelchairs or customers with pram. There are also slopes for wheelchairs and prams inside the Wildlife Dome.
