DIIV is a Brooklyn-based band known for their lush blend of shoegaze, dream pop, and post-punk revival, weaving hypnotic guitar textures with introspective lyricism. Fronted by Zachary Cole Smith, DIIV emerged in the early 2010s and quickly became a staple of modern indie rock with their emotionally charged sound and immersive live performances.

Their critically acclaimed debut album Oshin (2012) introduced the world to their shimmering, reverb-soaked style. Tracks like How Long Have You Known set the tone for their dreamy, yet melancholic signature. The follow-up, Is the Is Are (2016), marked a darker turn, reflecting themes of addiction, recovery, and redemption—particularly in the standout track Dopamine. Their third studio album, Deceiver (2019), showcased a heavier, grungier edge while continuing to explore themes like  healing, and emotional vulnerability.
